The Home of Mr Gatty’s Tea Room

Serving breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea, Mr Gatty’s is a tribute to a local hero. Set in beautiful parkland, it is the ideal location for a sweet treat or a lunchtime break.

Opening Times: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 4pm

Our menu and weekly specials have a local flavour, with recipes reflective of our Lancastrian heritage. With complimentary decor, Mr Gatty’s tells the fascinating story of the family from which it gets its name and their influence on the local community.

Providing free Wi-Fi for all customers and a takeaway menu to enhance our unique park location, we are the perfect out of office escape. Meetings, social functions and evening / weekend events are available on request.

Mr Gatty’s hosts many of the events and services offered by social enterprise Community Solutions. An ethical business, all our profits are used to develop numerous, community initiatives. Every cup of tea that is drunk directly supports somebody in the local area.
